Pursuant to the valid Articles of Association, Director General carries out the functions of the sole executive body of JSC «Eastern Energy Company» (no collegial executive body is foreseen by the Articles of Association).

The competence of the Director General includes all matters on management of the current activity of the Company, except those matters, which are referred to the competence of the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors of the Company, particularly:

• Ensuring the accomplishment of plans of the Company, necessary for achievement of its objectives;
• Organizing bookkeeping and reporting in the Company;
• Managing the Company’s assets, concluding deals on behalf of the Company, opening settlement and other-type accounts of the Company in banks and other credit institutions;
• Issuing orders, approving instructions, local normative acts and other internal documents of the Company;
• Presenting annual reports, balance sheets, income statements, P&L allocation statements to the Board for review;
• Decision-taking on other matters of the company’s current activity, except those matters which are referred to the competence of the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of the Company.
